This month, Tustin Kiwanis honored a student from Beckman, Foothill, Legacy and Tustin as Young Men of the Month. Students were joined by their families, counselors and principal/AP as they were honored for their hard work and perseverance, academic success, and impact on campus and in our community.
We were honored to join Soroptimist International of Santa Ana/Tustin as they celebrated a stand-out senior from Beckman, Foothill, and Tustin High Schools through their Young Women of Achievement program.

Beckman High School's Varsity Cheer team secured the campus' first-ever CIF-SS title for competitive cheer as they were named Traditional Competitive Cheer Division 4A CIF-SS Champions. Congratulations to Cheer Director Jason Vaca and the varsity team for this fantastic accomplishment. Beckman's girls competed against some of the top cheerleading squads in Southern California. We look forward to celebrating the BHS Varsity Cheer team with the Board of Education at their March meeting.
At their regular meeting on February 10, the Board of Education honored Tustin Public School Foundation Executive Director Carol Burby Garrett as she enters retirement. The Board joins our community in gratitude for Carol's lasting impact on our students, staff and programs through her dedication to Tustin Unified. We wish her the very best in her next chapter.

This week, we were excited to surprise Elementary Teacher of the Year Tracy Havens at Hicks Canyon Elementary, Middle School Teacher of the Year Kory Rascher at Hewes Middle School and High School Teacher of the Year Stephanie Smith at Tustin Connect.
Legacy Magnet Academy students and staff welcomed families and the community to their Lunar New Year Festival and Night Market.
Our Annual Robotics Extravaganza showcased 80 TUSD teams including 450 students and 27 coaches competing in VEX Robotics. Elementary students highlighted their skills in the Rapid Relay, while middle and high school students competed in the high-stakes tournament.
Tustin Unified middle and high school students have an opportunity to create the 2025 Dino Dash Run and Ride for Education logo.
